Canterbury Junior School Champs

​Canterbury Juniors is a fantastic chance for schools to enter our regions main junior tournament (Year 9 and Year 10 students).   

It's a well attended event with multiple divisions that make it suitable for all abilities. 

The tournament takes place in November each year and is 3 days long (Friday-Sunday).

​​Seedings for Canterbury Champs are based on Monday night results.  

Where teams are tied on points and round-robin games have not been completed, head to head result will be the priority over set ratio. Where teams are tied on points and the full round-robin has been completed - set ratio will be the priority.

The placings for this tournament, will count for teams seedings entered into the South Island Junior Championships

The prospective dates for Canterbury Juniors 2026 is the 6th -8th of November. Gym Bookings for this tournament are yet to be confirmed. Please be aware that this date may change depending on venue availability.​​​​​​​
