We are close to a start of activity with the Government announcing gatherings can be up to 100 people from Friday 29th May 12:00pm. We are working through the final details to enable a safe volleyball experience, and will continue to post updates here on our website and our Facebook page. CVA staff will be sharing their time between the office, and working from home during Alert Level 2. Our Thursday night indoor social league registrations have been filled to capacity, however we are still taking team registrations for our wait list, as we check through our teams to make sure they can still play. We are in contact by email with those teams and hoping to have our first night of competition on Thursday 11th June, making sure we have met all guidelines set for a safe environement for Sport & Recreation.
Monday Night Competitive League Team registrations are open on the Monday Night League page. These team registrations are to be completed by Tuesday 2nd June 9am, and we are looking to have our first night of competition on Monday 8th June. We will ensure the safety of our Volleyball Community, and follow all guidelines for Sport & Recreation at the different Alert Levels before activity can begin.
Wednesday Winter Volley (for high school students), Registrations are open. WWV will follow last years programme where we offer coaching and games for those intermediate/beginner skills looking to develop their skills overthe 6 week programme. Please register for your spot for this development coaching - there will be limited spaces available. More information will follow.
CANTERBURY SENIOR CHAMPS (20-22 March) was postponed. We hope to be able to hold this tournament later this year. We hope it would be a really positive way to offer closure to the year 13 players.
Canterbury Rep Trials are CANCELLED and unlikely to be held in 2020. We will update our Representative page if this changes.
