Canterbury Representative Volleyball

Canterbury has a proud history within New Zealand Volleyball, with National titles across the different age groups, and a number of our athletes achieving selection to National teams and squads.

The New Zealand Provincial Championships is contested annually over Queens Birthday weekend.  The 14 Associations throughout NZ come together to contest the title in Wellington, allowing athletes to compete for their region in the mighty RED & BLACK, play against the best athletes within their age group and continue on their representative pathway.

Monday 30th March - 6pm-8:30pm. Parakiore - U17 Boys & Girls  

Tuesday 31st March - 6pm - 8:30pm. Parakiore - U19 Boys & Girls 

Call back Trial Dates:

Wednesday 1st April - 6pm - 8:30pm. Christchurch Netball Centre - U17 Boys & Girls 

Thursday 2nd April - 6pm - 8:30pm - Parakiore - U19 Boys & Girls 

After the initial trails we will be in touch with everyone to notify if you have made it to the call back trails or if you have been unsuccessful.

We are now taking 'expression of interest' to trial for Men/Women teams - Register your interest here.

Trial Dates TBC - We will only go ahead with this if there is enough interest. We will be in touch with all those interested to let you know next steps.

Wednesday's 7.30pm - 9.30pm at Pioneer Stadium

22 April, 29 april, 6 May, 13 May, 20 May, 27 May

Sunday's 3.00pm - 5.00pm at Christchurch Netball Centre, Nga Puna Wai

3 May, 10 May, 17 May, 24 May

2026 Costs for U17/U19 teams: $1210 per player

Costs include the following:

- Return Airfares with Air NZ on a Group Booking.

- 3 Nights Accommodation in Wellington

- Transport & fuel while on tournament

- Food (breakfast, lunch & snacks)

- Entry fee to tournament

- Training top

- mains for dinners (athletes will make this before travelling) ​
