Volleyball New Zealand (Poirewa Aotearoa), Canterbury Volleyball Association, and the Southern Zone, are excited to be bringing the Level II Te Tipu Coach Course to Christchurch.
If you coach beach and/or indoor volleyball, have little to some experience, and want to continue to grow your coaching knowledge, this is for you! (Coaches must be 16 years of age or older.)
What will I learn?
- The purpose of this course is for developing coaches to gain a greater understanding of effective coaching.
- You will learn more about the technical components of volleyball and ways to teach skill.
- You will discuss and reflect on ways to help participants learn within a climate of development.
Cost: $24.95 (+ GST) per module. If your club/school is willing to cover the cost of the course, please indicate so on the registration form.
Date & Time:
- Module 1: HOW of Coaching. 8:30am - 12:30pm on Saturday 1st November
- Module 2a: WHAT of Indoor Volleyball - 1:00pm - 5:00pm on Saturday 1st November
- Module 2b: WHAT of Beach Volleyball - 8:30am - 12:30pm on Sunday 2nd November
(to complete the whole course, you must attend Module 1 and Module 2a and/or 2b. Yes, you can do all three)
