Roger Bleyendaal

 

Roger was a founding member of the Smash Volleyball Club and continues to coach and administer the club today.

 

Rogers passion for the game and developing both Junior and Senior athletes was recognised by Volleyball New Zealand in 2012 when he was awarded a Distingushed Service Award.

 

Roger is one of the leading coaches in Canterbury and is also a National Referee who actively encourages younger officials to take the stand.
