Registrations for our 2023/4 Squad are now closed, and our 20x athletes to travel to the 2024 Interprovincial Tournament have been selected

 

Canterbury Representative - NZ Provincial Age Group Champs (IPC):

Any athlete that may not be training with the Canterbury Beach Squad is still welcome to trial to represent Canterbury.

Eligibility to trial:

- you must born on or after 2006

- you must be training on the sand regularly and provide a training plan 

​

Trial:  17-18 November (at our camp) and 18-19 November (at our tournament)

Trial cost: $120

​

If Selected:

Compulsory training dates with Canterbury coaches and Canterbury players:

3 December (4pm-6pm)

10 January (6pm-8pm)

12 January (full day camp)

Compulsory tournaments:

9-10 December 

13 January

Cost for training and tournaments: $130

Uniform cost: $45 

​

Interprovincial Tournament: 15-19 January 2024 at Mt Maunganui

Cost: $695

Travel details:

- 4 nights accommodation

- transport while on tournament

- food (breakfast, lunch & snacks)

- entry fee to tournament

What isn’t included:

- airfares to/from Tauranga

- mains for dinners (athletes will make this before travelling) ​
